I believe that it's really important for students and consumers to know what they can expect from ESE, and ESE chiefs have the possibility to answer (if they've something to say, although I believe they haven't) in this forum, rather than ask the webmaster to ban me.. for telling something close to the truth?

Two years ago I applied for ESE to attend a (socalled) mba, I paid my fee but, after a few weeks, AS HUNDREDS OF GRADUATE AND POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS, I had big troubles with this (fake) university.

I decided to rescind the agreement (made under Italian law) and to sue them in order to have my money back, and now I'm waiting for the court's final decision.

What had happened?
The mba did not begin in time (better to say that the full time MBA didn't begin at all, while the part time MBA began with timetables and subjects totally different from what they had promised beforehand, they confessed months later that it was for lack of students in Rome MAIN campus!).

As I told, THE SUBJECTS AND THE TIMETABLES WERE ABSOLUTELY DIFFERENT FROM THE ONES ORIGINARILY PROMISED, the students I met after I left told me that exams were a farce and that the teacher were only young graduates complaining about the fact that ESE used to control them by non-payment strategies (many of them, teaching in Vicenza campus EVENTUALLY DECIDED TO SUE ESE)

Moreover, the companies quoted by ESE in their advertising and some of the "worldwide famous visiting professors" simply don't know anything about ... the existence of this so-called "university"!

Some people report of strange episodes occurred to ESE students and workers.
It seem that some of them have reported (to the police and the courts) they have been threatened, others that they were forced to be on diet " because the chief hates fat people, he usually says fat people have a <poor worker attitude>, while ESE people have to be like gods, and everyone of them.. THIN AND IN SHAPE.. "

Some of them report that ESE is in reality something similar to a SECT and has nothing to do with an university.

In fact it's been reported that many ESE "graduates" (by law they still remain "non-graduates") now tend to avoid to mention ESE during the job interviews held by Italian and foreign companies (recruiters usually laugh about it).


To summarize, after two years I discovered that this "university", as a matter of fact, is a commercial company many times condemned by the Italian Authority of communication and advertising (IAP) for deceptive advertising

.. a company WHOSE CHIEF HAS BEEN CONDEMNED BY ITALIAN COURTS FOR FRAUD, with hundreds of students claiming their money back, and eventually that the "guys" keep on creating brand new companies (like Russian dolls called "matrioskas") and after months close them.. to fraud creditors.

Moreover the socalled "degree" has NEVER been considered valid under Italian Law and for student applying from 2003 onwards..it will be considered NOT VALID even under British and EU law(!).
In fact few months ago Nottingham Trent University has decided to annul the validation agreement with ESE, due to the complaints received.
Here's the official NTU announcement, very formal indeed!
"Following a strategic review, it was decided that the validation agreement between Nottingham Trent and ESE would not be renewed. However, Nottingham Trent will fulfil its obligations to validate the awards of continuing students who successfully complete their course of studies with ESE, including those who have enrolled this autumn."

Obviously... on their official ESE-LONDON site "the guys" keep on saying nothing CLEAR about the bad news received from NTU, apart from the ambiguous "1998-2006" on top, close to "validation degrees", so that people can easily understand that students who APPLY until 2006 will have their degree validated, which is simply false, while in reality validation will be granted only for students who will COMPLETE their studies within year 2006!
