As an international applicant, do i need to assume that if i didnt receive an interview invite to HBS until today (round 1 applicant) that the chances are slim to be invited? (if there is a chance at all...)

At this point, there is no reason to assume that you won’t be getting an interview invitation. Statistically speaking, there are fewer slots available as time goes by, but HBS says that invites could still appear as late as their first round notification date, which is January 18, 2006. Good luck!
