Hi.

I took my Gmat in January, 2006 and scored a 730.verbal 40, quant 50. I have finished my graduation in India in May, 2006 and have a GPA of 2.9.

I have an option of taking up a post with Google as an AdWords representative and then pursuing an MBA after gaining some work experience with a sabbatical from Google.

I have not been able to gather much information about the value addition that this particular job may make to my mba aspirations. The job description is as:

Responsibilities:

Thoroughly check ad content, quality and accuracy.
Approve or disapprove new and changed ad submissions based on policy guidelines.
Optimize advertisers' keyword lists and ads to maximize advertisers' ROI.
Provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers.

I have finished my interviews with the company and am impressed with the work culture that they have there.

Looking for some advice on the same.

If you are targeting a "top tier" type MBA program, you should plan to get some work experience first before pursuing your MBA. A position at google may well be a good start. What is more important is gaining work experience that will help you shape your long term goals, get you closer to your goals, and provide you experiences from which you can learn. cheers, alex (congrats on the nice GMAT)
