Hi, I want to have some feedback on the online MBA program offered by Kaplan University. Anyone who has any experience with this university, your feedback is highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Isn't that the organization that gets people ready for standardized tests? I didn't know they had a university. Sorry, I don't know anything about it.

Yes, they offer online and onsite cources. I am not sure if they author the Kaplan study material. On their website they have given a detailed description of each course offered which I found quite impressive.

Yes its the book publisher. I don't know a whole lot about Kaplan U so I can't really say yea or nay. I do know that most new schools trying to be primarily Internet palyers have not faired well in reputation.

If Kaplan offers what your looking for then maybe its for you. Make sure to do your homework before selecting a school. The MBA is a big decision. If online is your only option then I would suggest checking out some of the programs offered by traditional schools.

Thanks for your reply.. Yes for me I think online is the only option as I dont want to quit my job since now I have over 8 years of exp and week end only classes wont be feasible as I need to spend time with my family too.. So i think online would be the best option..

As you suggested I will compare some full time MBA program with the online program to see how they differ.

Thanks again.

I would suggest that the caliber of the program is more important than the medium of teaching. Check out all you can about this university to see how much it is respected. As someone who obtained an MBA while traveling the world full-time, I understand your preference for an online approach.

Also, do a search on these forums for 'online' because the topic seems to come up a lot.
