Hello there,
Here is the scenario and hopefully, you can provide your expertise.
I'll be graduating soon from a state university and I am planning to work as a manager full time for a retail company for a good two years. Aside from work, I'll be sharpening my business skills and knowledge reading textbooks and working on business ideas.
Based on today's market, lot of high positions require an MBA at a prestigious university. And who doesn't want to achieve higher than where they are. I sure to develop my ability and work my way up.
The problem is that my GPA is not healthy (below the B average) at all and I never saw myself as a MBA candidate. My main concern is not the income that I'll be earning, it is the ability to acquire an expertise, a skill which I can be very competent in. And I get the notion that completing MBA will get me there.
I'll be discussing this with my colleagues and my parents and hopefully, some members here at MBA Forums can lend their advice.
I appreciate your time! :)
